Bio:

Dr Ferhat Uddin has almost 20 years of experience as a General Practitioner and is an expert in Menopause Care.

She is passionate about offering women options and empowering them with information. When creating Liberty Health Clinics part of her vision to was to provide access to menopause care for all, as such the clinics provide face-to-face and online consultations with menopause doctors, pyschologists and nutritionists.

Dr Ferhat qualified from King’s College and Guy’s & St Thomas’s medical school in 2004. She has many years of experience in general practice and enhanced her skills through further training including completing a Diploma in Women’s Health, Children’s Health, and Reproductive Health as well as completing the British Menopause Society’s menopause course. She did her practical menopause training at Guy’s Menopause Clinic where she continues to see patients with menopausal symptoms and complex histories.

She is trained in fitting intrauterine coils (Merina coil), which she sometimes advises as part of hormone replacement therapy for women who need replacement of hormones due to troublesome symptoms.

She takes a keen interest in teaching and mentoring and is a regular speaker at the Epsom Hospital for GP trainees as well as a GP Appraiser for NHS England.
