Bio:

Dr Naomi Potter is a GP with a special interest in Menopause. She understand how difficult menopause can be and is passionate about providing holistic care to women in their mid-life. She offers a bespoke
menopause services online and has a team of GPs in clinics in Barnes, Wimbledon and Sheffield.

Dr Potter takes an holistic, evidence based and person centred approach when giving menopause advice to women. She trained as a menopause specialist under the mentorship of one of the UK’s leading menopause experts, gynaecologist Nick Panay, and now runs her own private menopause clinic.

She understands that menopause symptoms can range from the classic ‘hot flushes’, night sweats and low libido to less definable ones such as I’m not myself,’ ‘I don’t know what’s wrong with me’, ‘I can’t cope and I don’t know why’ and offers support and guidance on HRT and alternatives to
HRT.

Because she has worked as both a GP and Menopause specialist she has experience in treating the menopause in the context of other health problems. Mental health issues, cardiovascular problems, metabolic issues, diabetes, high blood pressure, gynaecological conditions for example can all affect and be affected by the menopause. Her breadth of experience enables her to see the bigger picture when consulting with a woman.

She is a Diplomate of Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health as well as a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and member of the British Menopause Society.

Aside from medicine Dr Potter a large family of 5 children. I enjoy spending time with my family, travel, adventure, food, running, cycling, and a good glass of wine!
